So yesterday I was scrolling through football stuff online when my buddy suddenly asks me “Hey man, what shoes does Pedri actually wear?” and I’m like…wait yeah good question. I mean everyone talks about this kid playing for Barcelona but nobody ever mentions his boots.
My First Google Disaster
Grabbed my laptop straight away, googling like crazy. Typed “Pedri signed shoes” first – big mistake. All I got was stupid articles about him signing contracts with Barcelona. Useless! Then tried “Pedri boots brand” and still nothing solid. Tons of clickbait sites saying “CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT!!!” but no real answers. Wasted twenty minutes on this nonsense.
Then I remembered duh, he’s Spanish. Changed my search to “Pedri botas” – bam! Spanish sites actually had pictures of him training. Zooming in on those photos like some detective…could kinda see some white boots but the logo was blurred. Seriously?
The Wild Goose Chase
Started hunting through Nike guys first cause he was rumored with them before. Scrolled through De Jong, Lewandowski pics…nope. Then jumped to Adidas – checked Gavi and Ansu Fati’s feet. Nothing. Got so desperate I even looked up old Neymar Jr pics at PSG! Almost screamed when one blurry shot looked like Puma.
Here’s how messy my notes got:
- Nike Mercurial? Maybe but no swoosh visible
- Adidas X? Too bulky on the sides
- New Balance? Nah no stripes
My coffee went cold doing this, and I almost smashed my phone when Instagram showed me Pedri posing in everyday sneakers. NOT HELPING!
The Huge Breakthrough
Finally stumbled into some Barcelona fan forum from Spain. Dude posted a locker room selfie with Pedri and BAM – crystal clear shot of his boots. Zoomed right at the tongue – triple stripes! It was Adidas the whole damn time. Adidas! Felt like such an idiot missing this.
Dug deeper into Adidas player lineups. Pedri ain’t in those stupid “face of the brand” ads with Messi, but confirmed he rocks their boots. Been using the Adidas X Crazyfast model lately – those flashy neon green ones with the funky collar thing. Even found video of him slipping in the rain during training wearing ’em.
The Final Realization
Kinda wild how hard this was, man. Like major sports sites talk about contracts and transfers all day but good luck finding what boots players actually use. Should’ve just searched training pics from Barcelona’s insta to start. Lesson learned!
And hey turns out Pedri represents Adidas boots on the pitch. Makes sense since Barca’s sponsored by Nike but players can choose individual deals. Still kinda pissed I spent an hour on this when all it took was one fan selfie. The internet’s weird like that.
