Alright so today I was trying to find the damn starting lineups for Valencia versus Real Madrid. Everyone’s going crazy about this match, right? So here’s what I actually did, step by ugly step.
First thing, I opened Twitter like always. Searched for “Valencia Madrid lineup” and scrolled like a madman. Found some crap account posting fake lists with old players who aren’t even at the clubs anymore. Total waste of ten minutes. People just make stuff up for clicks.
Then I remembered that one sports app I used last season. Fired it up, but guess what? The damn thing showed last year’s lineup from January when these two played. Useless! Saw Rodrygo starting and Courtois in goal – totally outdated since Courtois just came back from injury.
Finally I hit up that Spanish sports site everyone talks about
Refreshed it twice because the page loaded weird. Boom! Fresh lineup just posted. Real’s starters popped up first:
- That attacking trio: Vinicius Jr, Mbappe, and Diaz right there
- Midfield looked wild – Modric, Tchouameni, AND Bellingham together
- Defense had Lucas Vazquez at right back… again. Dude’s playing like every game now
Scrolled down for Valencia. Weird setup they got:
- That keeper Mamardashvili starting as usual
- Umar Sadiq up front alone? Thought he was injured last week
- No sign of their captain Gayà at all. Big surprise there
Checked the bench players fast. Real’s subs had guys like Camavinga and that young Brazilian Endrick. Valencia listed some dude I’ve never heard of – Yarek or something? Had to google that name later.
Compared it to that April matchup someone mentioned. Last time, Valencia used Diego Lopez but now Sadiq’s leading the attack. Real went full attack mode swapping Rodrygo for Modric this round. Bench looked thinner too without Rudiger resting this time.
Double-checked the time – less than an hour before kickoff. Still worried if this source really nailed it. Saw another site had Courtois listed as starter which made zero sense. Stuck with the first one since those Spanish sites usually get it right first.
And that’s how I got the damn lineups before anyone in my group chat. Took caffeine, two false starts, and nearly throwing my phone. But here they are rolling out now. Let’s see if this actually plays out right.
