Okay so I been tracking this Travis Scott merch drop for weeks right? Word was it’s gonna be huge with wild new colors. Woke up early morning ready to smash that refresh button.
The Pre-Drop Madness
First thing I did was charge my phone plus laptop together cause you know these sites crash like crazy. Chugged two coffees while checking every sneaker forum and discord for last-minute tips. Saw dudes saying:
- Nordstrom gonna have exclusive cobalt blue
- Stock numbers super low on desert camo
- Website queues gonna randomize
My hands were sweaty when countdown hit 5 minutes. Opened like 12 browser tabs across different retailers. Smart move cause Foot Locker site immediately froze when clock hit zero.
The Actual Chaos
Started spamming add-to-cart on Bloomingdale’s tab – got errors three times! Switched to Nike app fast and saw the pixel green hoodie disappearing while my finger was hovering. Nearly screamed when checkout button finally lit up.
Payment page loading… loading… BAM! Sold out message. Felt like somebody kicked my stomach. But then remembered I had JD Sports tab open in background. Somehow scored that mustard yellow joint in XL while everybody was fighting over Nike.
Checked my confirm email like five times thinking it was glitch. Real ones know that post-checkout panic hitting different.
What I Actually Copped
Ended up with two pieces after all that drama:
- Mustard yellow cropped hoodie – thicker than last season’s
- Rust orange oversized crew – pocket stitching looks insane
Missed out on the glow-in-dark one though. Saw resellers listing it for triple price 20 minutes later. Absolute savages.
These colors crazy vibrant in person. Like the yellow looks like highlighter fluid but in good way? Gonna post fit pics tomorrow. Shoulda sized down on crewneck though – fits like a damn tent.
