Alright, so today I figured I’d put together a little preview for this Espanyol B game against Las Palmas. You know me, I love digging into these matchups before they happen. Just feels like putting the puzzle together.

Flipped over to their side. Got sidetracked a bit checking their league position. Hanging in the playoff hunt? Yeah, they need this result badly.
- Big Name: Immediately, Jonathan Viera. Wow, still playing? He’s ancient for this level. But you see the stats, the guy is pulling the strings. Still key passes, still sets the tempo.
- Midfield Muscle: Needed someone besides Viera. Found Curbelo. Feisty, wins balls. Looks like he does the dirty work so Viera can play.
- Sneaky Important: Found myself watching clips of Moleiro. Kid’s tricky. Seems like he pops up with crucial passes or runs when you least expect it. Underspoken but effective.
Honestly, Las Palmas’ forwards didn’t scream “Star Power” at me. Seems like they share the goals around.
The “Oh, Right” Moment
Almost forgot! Injuries and Suspensions! Wasted ten minutes searching news snippets and official reports. Did see Espanyol B had a midfielder suspended. Always changes things. Las Palmas seemed mostly fit, just one defender maybe sidelined? Made a note to double-check closer to kickoff.
